Original Entry Date: 02.19.03 LaDawnya's World began as a diary that I was writing while I was in college. It began
on February 26, 1994. I began keeping a diary to help me cope with living in my father's
shadow. My father was a professor at the college that I was attending. I had become
frustrated with people always asking me where he was and asking me to give him
messages. I
created this character. After a few months, I noticed that it would make a very good story
to share with others. So, LaDawnya and her world were created. All aspects, people, places, things, and ideas are not real. They are all creations of
my mind. If any aspects, people, places, things, and ideas are real, this was not my
intent. Please feel free to email me, I will
gladly see what I can do to fix this. All poetry, short stories, essays, etc. were written by deartra
